Day 1:Â Flight from DPS to BMU with airport pick-up to Secret Peak Villas and first surf session (if swell and tide allows)

Day 2-5:Â 2 Surf sessions per day and exploring the different waves around Lakey Peak

Day 6:Â Airport transfer and Flight from BMU to DPS

The Wave
Lakey Peak is one of Sumbawa’s most famous surf areas, known for its clean reef breaks, tropical scenery and consistent waves. The main wave, Lakey Peak, is a classic A-frame with both lefts and rights, offering fun walls, carvable sections and the chance for barrels when the conditions line up.

It’s a great destination for intermediate to advanced surfers. On smaller days, intermediate surfers can enjoy clean, playful waves, while bigger swells bring more power, speed and technical sections for experienced surfers. Since most spots break over reef, confidence in the water and reef experience are recommended.

The area offers a nice mix of waves close to each other. Lakey Pipe is a fast, hollow left that can get powerful and is better suited for advanced surfers. Nungas is a longer, more mellow left, perfect for fun turns and longer rides on the right day. Periscopes is a quality right-hander, known for clean walls and more playful sessions when the swell and wind are right. Depending on the conditions, there’s usually a spot around Lakey Peak that fits your level and the day.
