The Accommodation
Jawa Jiwa is a peaceful accommodation with glamping style bungalows, set deep in the jungle of East Java Alas Purwo National Park and located right by the famous G-Land waves. It’s the perfect base for surfers who want to stay close to one of Indonesia’s most iconic left-hand reef breaks.

The main G-Land wave is within walking distance from the camp, while Tiger Tracks, a more mellow wave with both lefts and rights, is further down the coast and ideal for fun sessions on the right conditions.

The Wave
G-Land is famous for its long, powerful left-hand reef breaks, jungle backdrop and some of the most iconic waves in Indonesia. From fast walls to heavy barrels, the main G-Land section offers world-class surf for intermediate to advanced surfers who are confident on reef breaks.

It’s mainly a destination for experienced surfers, especially when the swell is bigger. On smaller days, intermediate surfers can find fun, cleaner waves, while advanced surfers will love the speed, power and long rides that make G-Land so legendary.

The area also offers more variety than many people expect. The main G-Land waves, including sections like Kongs, Money Trees, Launching Pads and Speedies, are long left-handers that can get fast and hollow. Tiger Tracks is a more mellow option further down the coast, with both lefts and rights, making it a great spot for fun sessions when the conditions are right. Depending on the swell, tide and your level, there’s usually a wave that fits the day.
